Clifford Chance Access to Justice Award

For a second year the Clifford Chance Foundation will grant a donation of £50,000 and 500 hours of pro bono legal work to a not-for-profit organisation, anywhere in the world, that helps individuals, groups or communities preserve or secure their right to the basic necessities of life. Organizations from all around the world which help vulnerable people to protect their rights and legitimate interests. The deadline is 10 June 2010, applications should be submitted electronically here.

In 2010 the Clifford Chance Access to Justice Award went to People’s Legal Aid Center (PLACE) in Khartoum, Sudan – organization of lawyers who provide free legal services to displaced people in Sudan.
