Italian lawyers provide free legal aid to homeless people

Advocato di Strada is a non-profit group established in 2007 with an objective to extend access to justice to homeless people. By the end of 2011 Advocato di Strada operates 22 advice centers across Italy and plans to open soon more centers in Palermo, Catania and Syracuse. The centers are staffed by volunteer lawyers where homeless people can receive free legal advice and assistance provided by volunteering lawyers.
